Between 2022 and 2023, Tomato Blues was performed by dancer Geneviève Robitaille. Since 2024, the solo is also performed by Lina Cruz. The first performance of Tomato Blues by Lina Cruz was presented in Toronto in 2024 at Harbourfront Centre Theatre in the series Older & Reckless (Moonhorse Dance Theatre).
Being at the head of Fila 13 and creating works for the company has progressively distanced Lina from her own performance and given her the precious platform to create for dancers other than herself. However, the present opportunities to rediscover the pleasures and challenges of the stage are a gift she welcomes wholeheartedly!
